I have been inspired today by the wonderful work of two lovely Brisbane girls, Melanie Parker and Elizabeth Raptis.
The second issue of their e-magazine Ivy and Piper Fashion for The Home is now available. This is a wonderful online magazine which features a lovely dose of decoration and design from Australia and around the world.
Not only does it have a wonderful article and a bevy of stunning images on Australia's own David Hicks and one of his recent retail fashion projects Green With Envy in Melbourne, it also features a two part video interview with American born, Melbourne based Designer Diane Bergeron.
It is so great to see these girls present such a lovely standard of work in their e-mag Ivy and Piper.
It is also great to feel such a groundswell of love for design and decoration at a local level, which is of such an international standard. And why not? Here in Australia we have always been able to pluck from ecclectic design influences from around the globe and translate them to our very own wonderful Australian vernacular and way of life.
Great work and please be inspired by these people who are leading the design charge!
