Vintage Chandelier

look what I 've had my eye on....

what an incredible and rare piece...not only for its beauty

 but incredible scale

vintage 1950's maybe?

removed from a now demolished hotel foyer...

somewhere in time...

Anna's Chairs

I rescued these chairs from a dreary, colourless life among

the second hand fridges and washing machines

before...

and after...

these Louis' were crying out for colour....

so I darkened the frames and had them upholstered

in 'kid' friendly hi shine vinyl in cherry red

they now reside at Anna's house

adore the nightly robust discussions at the dinner table

 and are very happy!

Weekend Found Vintage Object!

Wonderful decorator pieces

like this one are getting harder to find....

this wonderful abstract horse dates probably

 from the 1960's or '70's....

and I really dig it...don't you?
